My Books

I Believe in You!

About the Book...

After four plus years in the making… it’s FINALLY ready!

Ironically, this was the first book the good Lord placed on my heart to write…

Before Gracefully Broken…
Before Wins & Lessons….

There was I BELIEVE IN YOU!

But I knew this message was far too important to rush. I had to get it right!

For four plus years I prayed, wrote, rewrote, reflected, coached, spoke, learned, experienced, and lived these pages. God continued preparing me—not just to write this book—but to become the man who could faithfully deliver its message.

TODAY through all the wins, losses, lessons, challenges, I fully understand why he made me wait. #HisPlan

Sometimes the first vision isn’t the first assignment.

Sometimes God allows us to walk through more victories, more heartbreak, more healing, and more growth so our message carries greater truth, greater compassion, and greater purpose.

For more than 40 years, I’ve been blessed to coach, mentor, teach, speak, and pour into the lives of thousands of young people, parents, coaches, educators, and leaders.

Throughout those years, I’ve been asked the same questions over and over again…

Coach, how do I become a better leader?
How do I become mentally tougher?
How do I earn my coach’s trust?
How do I become fearless?
How do I handle failure?
How do I build discipline?
How do I become the best version of myself?
How do I become a walking trophy?

From the bottom of my heart… This book is answer.

Every lesson was written from real life—not theory. From victories and defeats. From heartbreak and healing. From locker rooms, classrooms, hospital rooms, camp gyms, church pews, and thousands of life-changing conversations.

There have always been four words I never wanted anyone to leave without hearing:

I BELIEVE IN YOU!

Those four words have changed lives.

This book is more than basketball.

It’s about faith.
It’s about discipline.
It’s about character.
It’s about leadership.
It’s about perseverance.
It’s about becoming the person God created you to be.

Whether you’re a student-athlete, parent, coach, educator, mentor, or simply someone searching for hope and purpose, my prayer is that these pages remind you of something the world too often forgets:

•Every child deserves LOVE.
•Every child deserves OPPORTUNITY.
•Every child deserves GRACE.
And every child deserves somebody to BELIEVE IN THEM.

This One Is My Heart!

I pray it encourages, and touches you, and someone else you believe in as well.

I BELIEVE IN YOU!

About the Book

In My Own Words…

Any great leader will tell you, that at some point they too, have been broken, had to be humbled, have made bad decisions and mistakes along the way.

They had to draw up the courage to admit that their collective insight from both big victories and bad choices had taught them; redirected their focus, faith and future!  All which enabled them to see opportunities during their brokenness and to find and fulfill God’s plan and purpose for their lives.

About the Book

In My Own Words…

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
